Lantern Tour Tickets now on Sale
Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center
Tickets for the Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center’s annual historic Lantern Tours are now on sale for $10 per person. The Lantern Tours will take place on Friday, November 1, 2019, with tours for groups of fifteen beginning at 7:00 p.m. A new tour will begin every fifteen minutes. This community favorite will sell out, so purchasing your tickets in advance is recommended.
The Lantern Tours event takes 1890s Cherokee Strip history straight from the Heritage Center’s Archives and recreates the stories. After dark, visitors to Humphrey Heritage Village will travel back to the time when Oklahoma's statehood was in debate. Lantern led tours through the historic buildings and campsites will explore daily life, its hardships and its rewards. Following the lantern led tour, guests will enjoy historical entertainment and refreshments.
For more information on the historic Lantern Tours or other CSRHC programs, please contact the Heritage Center at 580-237-1907 or visit the website at www.csrhc.org. The Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center is located at 507 S. 4th Street in Enid, Oklahoma.
